Gory Gory Hallelujah (2003)
Amazing... a must see to believe
I loved this movie. I watched it 3 times in a row and each time I couldn't wait to return to the title page on the DVD where I was able to see the huge atom bomb blow up before I entered the scene page and I loved this feature. The movie is so Awesome, I became so invested into the characters and their road trip to find themselves and a bit of each other as well. I loved the Elvis bar brawl and the sexy dialogue between the characters. The huge dance scenes at the end with all of the Zombies was so entertaining, and the 4 Jesus characters were very well cast and each did a great job of "owning" their roles. I would recommend this movie to young and old, or to anyone that is looking for a great time and needs some comedy and horror in their life. I loved this movie and I can't wait to go home and watch it again.
Circus of Infinity (2005)
Circus of "Stars"
I was thrilled to be sitting in the full theater to see the 3 short films for the Seattle International Film Festival and was blown away when the screen came alive with color and crazy music and people having fun up on the screen. Even though Circus of Infinity was only 10 minutes long the images and the message it conveyed to me lives in my head to this day. The other movies that were part of this project were really great too, but I think that the other directors took most of the requirements for the project too literally, where Sue was able to add her own twist. For example each film had to have someone "trip" somewhere in the short, and in each short flick we saw someone stumble and trip, BUT in Sues movie, she had a girl actually "tripping" and I loved how she took a literal statement and put her creativity into it. I was entertained from beginning to end.I think Sue is an amazing artist with a creative personality and one of the best directors in the business. I can't wait to see her next project and feel her message pulse threw my head over and over and over again. I loved this short, and would recommend to ALL.
