totally ruined Riker and Troi's character
26 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I'm happy to see that Riker and Troi live a peaceful country life after they retired, but they don't have to retire now. They are in about the same age as Picard in Nemesis, right? So they can still have their own ship or just sit in the big chair in the command office or whatever, at least they don't have to play old. Plus, Riker and Troi already know Picard is in big trouble and it's something about Data, so they won't just back off!! Yes, they are parents now so perhaps they don't want to run such a great risk with Picard as before. But what they can do is definitely more than offering a temporary sanctuary for one episode. CBS has totally messed up with Riker and Troi's character.

Fabulous idea and excellent acting
23 March 2019
Typical Spanish movie that reveals the darkness of humanity. The twist in the end is a little rush but the whole idea of the story is still very intriguing to me. 7 stars for the story and 2 stars for Javier Gutiérrez's great acting.

My favorite movie this year
14 December 2018
Warning: Spoilers
My favorite movie this year, though I admit to be a little biased. The first ten minutes almost made me cry. My mom was diagnosed with cancer one week right before the first day of my high school. She is healthy now and never relapses, but still I can say that my family has emotionally been through the same kind of thing. And I was never a popular student in high school, like Margot in the movie. Literally everything on the computer screen seemed so authentic and genuine to me, even though we didn't use iPhone then. I don't usually share personal things about my family on the Internet. All I'm trying to say is that it's a movie that can actually resonate with the audience.

Typical Farscape imagination. And I'm so thrilled about Zhaan's cameo.

Surprisingly interesting CSI parody
10 November 2018
Warning: Spoilers
For a moment I thought I opened the wrong show. But it turns out interesting actually. The alternative universe setting is brilliant. The music, the light, and the storyline are very CSI. As a SG fan and CSI fan at the same time, I enjoy this episode very much. Btw, the scene that the wraith puts human make-up on himself with rock music playing is somehow very funny.

Annoying
7 November 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I just can't bear with such a disturbing, arrogant, pretentious, selfish teenager girl who happens to be the center of this episode. And her name is "Harmony". That is hilarious. So annoying. Just so annoying.

One of the most underrated episodes in Star Trek
27 August 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I didn't realize how underrated this episode was until I rewatched it. I know there's some illogical details about this episode but generally I love Shannon's story. Was Shannon sort of a pioneer? No. She had never been in space or taken part of the Mars project. But did she make a great difference to the history? All she did was managing to persuade her future husband to move his bookstore. It might seem insignificant to the entire history, but to a extent it had paved the way for The Millenium Gate project, which became the prototype of the Mars Colony. You don't really have to be the one who discovers the law of gravity to make a difference to the mankind. You can be the apple.

Definitely the best Chinese movie ever
11 August 2018
Antiheroes are unusual in Chinese movie but this movie's main character, Yong, was a scoundrel smuggler and accidentally became a hero. This movie actually focuses on and not just Chinese medicine problem. It's about humanity and trade-off between legal principles and moral conscience. The theme could be better if it revealed deeper problems but I think it's good enough. Plus I really enjoy the typical Chinese humor.
