It's a beautiful film adaptation of the novel with the same name. Wish if they could give more depth to shubhro's character. I wish Humayun ahmed's characters- himu, shubhro and misir ali's stories could be turned into a series directed by humayun ahmed himself while he was still alive, it would have been amazing.

This anime can really prove that how much powerful can an anime character be even without any super powers. Yagami light's brain and the this supernatural phenomenon made the entire anime's content very deep and complexive to understand. Yagami light's motives were mostly unpredictable. His rival L was also very clever, clever than any normal human being. I highly doubt if there are any human with such intelligence exists, may be the authors are one of those people.
