Basically Useless and an Insult to Fans
16 January 2022
Just skip this episode, it reuses the same animation from all the 7 previous episodes. If you wanna skip the first 7 episodes and watch a shoddily combined attempt of them that makes no sense whatsoever, then watch it I guess. But as of writing this, it's easily the worst episode of the show I've seen thus far. It's not even an episode, just a useless time waster to fill up the first season with 12 episodes instead of 11.

I'd give it a 0/10 if I could, but IMDb only allows the lowest rating to be a 1 so that'll have to do for now.

Could be better, could be worse

Warning: Spoilers
While it does have its moments that makes Bloom Into You an interesting watch (like the ending scene with Sayaka and Touko), this episode fails on so many different levels and reuses most of what makes the show bad. The dialogue is badly written, most specifically with the scene between Touko and. Ichigaya which was supposed to be impactful and emotional but ended up being so blandly played out. And when the best character performance of the entire episode was Suguru, one of the most annoying characters of the entire show, then you know it's bad.

And this needs to be said, I knew that at some point that this was gonna happen because anime fans are perverts. So I'm not surprised in the slightest that they included a scene where Yuu, Touko, and Sayaka get undressed and soak in a hot bath together for 3 minutes of the episode. Had they not included that scene anywhere in the show, NOBODY would watch it. I'm just glad they held off on that until recently and especially glad that the writers were self aware of just how cringey it is and had the three girls play off it for some cheap laughs.

The WORST of Any "Emotional" Movies
29 January 2018
This religious drama succeeds in visual representation but fails miserably in many different ways including a poorly written plot, boring characters, an awful score, and an offensive religious tone that comes off as putting down others for not believing in faith or the proper type of religion that gives second chances. This movie also fails in delivering emotion due to the lack of good acting and well written dialogue. The only type of audience that would like this flick would be religious people who would also find movies such as Left Behind and Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas to be quality movies. To anyone else who finds interest in this movie, do the world a favor and stay far far FAR away. If you want to watch a GOOD movie with religious themes, watch Life of Pi instead.
