The film as actually pretty good, considering the low score. It was a bit messy at times, but it made it's points. Honestly, i am not surprised to see all the men giving this movie a 1, as they were so disugusted by the fact that the main character, a woman, dared to take control over her life and not just do what her husband and doctor manipulated her to.

As a woman, the ending was incredibly satisfying, considering the fact that we women are being constantly gaslighted,used and abused. The movieade that point clearly, but sadly it made all the buthurt men hate the movie, because they could not face the truth.

Too bad it was overshadowed by the fact that Macedonia didn't exist in the 19th century and the directot blatantly stole Bulgarian folk songs and tried to prsent them as Macedonian.

Probably the first review i have written, but this film was so horrible that it deserved one. Loud, obnoxious, annoying, laughable practicale effects, boring plot, overplayed commentary on society. If you are into theathre maybe you'll like it, but it simply does not hold well and I'm shocked that this film is held in such a high regard.

Truly a mindblowing piece if art. Every shot is perfect and captivating, which is even more impressing, considering the movie was largely improvised.
