The IT Crowd: The Haunting of Bill Crouse (2006)
Proper LOL
This episode makes me roar! I've seen it several times now and I still laugh loud and hard. Not many things can make me get that way. Jen is brilliant in this episode!
This Is Us: Forty: Part One (2020)
Oh dear
This Is Us was always beautiful and poignant escapism for me. I was so disappointed when I realised they had incorporated the pandemic into it. I wanted to turn off right from the start. The last thing I want to watch is a drama and particularly this drama incorporating the pandemic. Depressing. One of my favourite shows ruined.
The Office: Goodbye, Michael (2011)
Wow, sniffle
What an emotional episode. Had me completely choked up. Heartbreaking, beautiful, perfect. We will all miss the wonder that was Michael Scott.
Bates Motel (2013)
Amazing!
I have just finished Bates Motel and feeling a loss without it! This was such as excellent series. Superb acting from Freddie Highmore and Vera Farmiga and the rest of the cast. So gripping, such emotional drama, with dark humour sprinkled in there too. It is right up there now with some of my favourite shows of all time. Thank you Bates Motel for such a rollercoaster of a ride!!!
13 Reasons Why (2017)
Season 3 was gripping
After finishing season 3 and finding it brilliant and gripping I was surprised to read all the negative reviews on here. Yes I did find Ani annoying but it didn't detract that much from how good the season was.
Ruby Sparks (2012)
Charming and quirky
I loved this indie film. Charming and quirky and Paul Dano and Zoe Kazan were great together.
The Lion King (2019)
Great stuff!
I was really apprehensive about seeing this after so many bad reviews on here but glad I did as it was really good and stirred up all the same emotions as the original. I did feel Donald Glover was a little lackluster as Simba initially but it didn't detract much from the overall film. I still laughed and cried and the music was wonderful.
When They See Us (2019)
Hard going but so important
This was tough to watch especially the first episode. Brilliant acting especially Jharrel Jerome in the last episode. Goodness. I'm still feeling choked up and emotional. You won't get over this fast.
Before Sunrise (1995)
Beautiful and real
I finally got around to watching the Before trilogy. I loved Before Sunrise. A very real and natural film capturing a continuous scene and experience of bonding before mobile phones. I miss the 90s
The Walking Dead: The Calm Before (2019)
Wow
I wasn't sure how I was feeling about season 9 but that episode was a creeper and then shocked me to my core. Brilliantly done. Still thinking about it. Still can't believe it
