The Peasall Sisters: Family Harmony (2005)
The Peasall Sisters are absolutely awesome!!!
If you've never seen or heard these beautiful girls perform, you MUST! Their life as a home schooling family of six children changed overnight when they recorded songs for the Grammy Award winning soundtrack for O Brother, Where Art Thou? What remained constant, though, was their commitment to their faith and their family. The Peasall Sisters: Family Harmony is a celebration of their beautiful music and their enduring focus on being a God-honoring family.
Family Harmony includes an intimate live performance filmed at Pucketts in historic Franklin, Tennessee, as well as the documentary-style telling of the Peasall family story. The 45-minute program also includes bonus features. INCLUDES SONGS: * Home To You * The Old Churchyard * Ride On * Hallelujah, I'm Ready * Logtown * Where No One Stands Alone * Be Thou My Vision * The Old Account * Gray County Line * I'm Using My Bible as a Roadmap ~ and BONUS FEATURES! This is a great Christian Family documentary that should not be missed! When I first saw these precious girls on the Gaither's for the first time I was floored! Their music & talent is simply an incredible gift from God! When they sing, you can feel it coming from their hearts & souls, and you will be touched. These sweet sisters -- from youngest to oldest -- Leah (tenor & fiddle), Hannah (soprano & mandolin), and Sarah (alto and guitar) made their singing and playing debut on the Grammy-winning O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack in 2000. Born and raised in White House, TN, the precocious teens have performed at such lauded venues as Radio City Music Hall, Carnegie Hall, and the Grand Ole Opry, as well as released two outstanding records, First Offering (2002) and Home to You (2005).
Bob the Butler (2005)
Much to our surprise...we love this movie!!!
Knowing that Tom Green was in this movie, we automatically thought that this would definitely be a sorry, vulgar, non-family movie. We were shocked to be wrong on all counts. There were some questionable parts, but overall it gets 12 thumbs up from our family! Tom Green was great & our kids just love this movie! We just got the DVD, and we've already watched it 3 times. I am still in shock that Tom Green was in a good movie and did a great job acting! I recommend "Bob the Butler" to all! People need to see this, just to be in total disbelief that Tom Green can actually act. Parents just need to preview it first, so they will know when to hit the mute button, or forward on a couple of occasions. :O)
