Greatest short film I've ever watched. I've probably watched it 70 times and I still get chills every time. I show it to everyone I've ever met whether they want me to or not hahahaha.

The animation was incredible and beautiful to watch but the story left a lot to be desired. Meaning it was awful. The story was so boring and the characters were so basic my boyfriend and I groaned so many times trying to watch it. My boyfriend actually fell asleep and I only woke him up to watch the battle scenes. This is your run of the mill young adult movie. Had it been darker it would have been better. Cut out a ton of the scenes with the human boyfriend and just leave enough to get Alita to the breaking point where she's ready to go nuts on the people up above, and that would have been great. What a waste of talented animators.
