Tara vs Bilal (2022)

Cute romcom plus Harshvardhan is love!
27 December 2022
Good movie for a light, one time watch... Both lead actors are good, all of the supporting cast is a set of revered actors but Harshvardhan steals the show. Much better than a lot of other Indian content that makers spew out these days. Would recommend anyone considering watching to go for it and ignore the negative reviews, the movie is not off the hook, out of the world or anything but you will have a good time if you like romcoms. If you like romcoms, you would know how the story usually goes and this one sticks to the pattern but sometimes predictability doesn't hurt, it still gives you the needed entertainment.

The reality!
7 October 2020
Amazing seriest that shows the reality of how things went down for the biggest business tycoons of India who were eventually unveiled to be frauds. The episode on B Ramalinga Raju, whose scam was probably on the largest scale among all , is very much awaited!

Indian Matchmaking (2020– )

Cringe is the word! Don't waste time watching it!
23 July 2020
I can't believe this show exists on a platform like Netflix which is loved and promoted by the youth of India. This is farthest from the so called "reality" it claims to be based on. Couldn't bear to finish watching the whole thing, it is that bad. Netflix's and showmakers' idea of matchmaking seems to be more of perpetuating ancient stereotypes and objectifying women. Should have been made may be what 100 years back, probably then people would have been able to relate with it, I doubt even that.

Great show! Ignore the haters pls!
9 June 2020
I wanted to rate it 9 but adding one more point to make up for all the haters around. The show is pretty good, teenage drama and stupid teenagers like we all have been back in the days , and a fantasy storyline, new concept. Overall, it's good. Am glad I watched it without going throug reviews

Highly overrated!
16 April 2019
This show is so slow, overrated and just plain bad! Whatever points I feel it deserves are for great shots by the camera team, the choice of shooting locations and some dialogue writing. The story looses grip every now and then, any loose ends just left, the lead actress is just bad, the character is written so annoying and her acting chops don't help in anyway to make it bearable.

Bad! Just bad! Am surprised at the n number of recommendations for this show at various platforms.

Cute!

Cute YA love story with an incredible message about body image issues in teenagers. I just wish it was little more fast paced.

Such bad writing for a show with great potential
2 March 2019
The writer totally screwed up the show. I feel bad for the actors. A complete waste of great actors Song Yoon Ah and Ji Chang Wook who unsuccessfully tried to float the show as much as they could with their acting but there is only so much that one can do if the plot and character development is so bad. It's only because of these two I am rating it 3, it doesn't even deserve that much otherwise. The lead character played by Im YoonA is supposed to be innocent and childlike but because of her lacking acting skills and bad writing, she comes across as rather dimwitted. The romance between the lead pair appears to be so forced. It would have been better to pair Song Yoon Ah and Ji Chang Wook together as the lead couple.

Ji Chang Wook is really good in the action scenes in the show.

Most entertaining Kdrama
11 February 2019
It has everything that makes for a good show - great cast, good acting by all, great chemistry between characters, good balance of comedy, romance and serious storyline and last and the most important of all - it's been written so well. Kudos to the writer of the show. Must watch if one is looking for a non cliche light romcom drama.

Love Rain (2012)
10/10
The best K Drama so far
18 January 2019
Love Rain showcases love in two different eras in a very realistic and emotional way along with potraying very complex family and relationship dynamics. The entire cast is amazing but Keun Suk Jang steals the show! He completely bowls over with his acting prowess and is convincing as an introvert in love in the bygone era of 1970s as well as the modern lover (JKS fan forever!) Also, it doesn't have any corny comedy sequence just for heck of it. I wish they make more dramas like this one. A must watch!
