Wild Bill (2019)

Now for something different...

Not like the usual 'cop show', there's more to Bill Hixon than we are at first shown, he's a complex, 'duck out of water', character (typical Rob Lowe part, different and unexpected). Don't make assumptions on the first episode, you need to watch the whole series to really get to the bones of the show. Actually refrained from using my iPad whilst watching this as it actually kept my attention unlike a lot of TV these days! Really hope there is a second series!

My heart needs time to recover...

What a movie...watched the short version first before this was made and loved it so much, so awkwardly wonderful and then the extension of the story after Officer Arnaud's grief stricken performance is heart wrenching and also heart warming...Jim knows how to manipulate your feelings in this film through his performance and writing. Wonderfully non-Hollywood independent film! Catch 'Minutes' too...

No film is ever perfect but this is damn near!

This film has everything I love about independent film, slightly rough around the edges, beautifully shot and no predictable Hollywood ending! Had me glued right to the end! Characters are true and natural. Story is fresh and unpredictable. Thank you Jaron for the tense and captivating Friday evening watch! Would love to know what beef have you got with Larry Triplett though... poor guy never gets a break in your films! Well done all! Still can't believe how you make these films with so little, keep it up!
