As an amateur actor I regularly perform too. Most recently I played the part of Sebastian in The University of Manchester's Shakespeare Society production of 'The Tempest'. Originally from Guernsey I was a student at the Guernsey Academy of Theatrical Education (GATE) for over a decade, performing with and working in a number of shows alongside professional cast members, from the likes of London's West End, to put on musicals such as; Bugsy Malone, Billy Elliot, Mamma Mia!, Cats, and more. With GATE I also travelled to Paris to compete in the 2011 Dance World Cup, placing second with a tap dance group representing Guernsey.
My love of theatre also translated in school whereby each year of secondary school I took part in annual Shakespeare productions that the school took to the Shakespeare Schools Festival. This involved portraying the titular character in 'Titus Andronicus' (2013) at The Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts. I also took Drama at GCSE, and then at A level.
My interest in Media began with studying it at A Level, since then I've contributed on Radio 5 Live with the likes of Adrian Chiles as part of a panel on Question Time Extra Time, and as a member of a small live audience to discuss Brexit, which was hosted by Anna Foster.
During my time so far in Manchester I have tried to take every passing opportunity that comes my way, and so with MediaCityUK so close (in Salford) I have also managed to sit in as a live audience member for the BBC One show's 'The Big Questions' and 'Watchdog' a number of times - getting to know and networking with the cast and crew.
Having attended the 2018 Manchester International Film Festival in March, meeting the likes of Shia LaBeouf and Jonathan Rhys Meyers, I decided to make a film for the 2019 festival. As a result I've directed, co-produced, edited and presented a 40 minute documentary on Nazi-Occupied Guernsey, during WW2, that I have submitted to the 2019 Manchester International Film Festival (MANIFF).

Marooned Awakening (2022)
A dark, thrilling narrative that will keep you on the edge of your seat!
This is a psychological thriller that, at its heart, is a journey of torment between a father and son as their relationship breaks down under the pressure of the loss of wife/mother from their lives, and the separate views for the future that neither of them share.
The film takes several turns and twists as the protagonist (Alex) uncovers the details behind an 'accident' that, along with his different outlook on life and his fathers traditional industry-based job, contributes to the feuding and rapturous breakdown between the pair.
Casting did an excellent job here; each actor has been carefully chosen for the character that they portray. The chemistry between 'Dad; and 'Alex' hits the right notes at every turn. Murray McArthur perfectly captures an alcoholic, crushed father that in the midst of grieving his dead wife, is outraged at his son who yearns to move to the City - he feels almost abandoned and betrayed by his son. Cameron embodies a young man in search of a life of his own - one that is different to the vision his father had. He struggles to communicate his reasons for wanting to leave to his father that, under the pressure, continues to crack and cave into a drunken state. Emotional performances from Tilly Keeper and Brian Webster, too.
The location is perfect, with the island serving as a character in the story as much as any other. The isolation and loneliness of the island adds to the state of mind of the protagonist and his outlook on life.
A fantastic film that keeps you thinking until the end. A very dark twist!
