Saw (2004)

Uhhhhg, horrible
17 November 2006
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is a huge disappointment. Although the movie did have a decent story line, it lacked any graphic detail. Why would they go off Kerry Grant when he is cutting off his foot. This special effect is not hard to do. The story was also extremely ridiculous. No one could ever sit there that long in the middle of the floor. Everyone else that was a victim was there for a reason, but there was no reason for him to be there. Vincent Price is rolling in his grave for someone making such a horrible horror/thriller. I hope Santa Claus gives the director of this film a big lump of coal for Christmas. I have now boycotted every other saw movie that has come out. What has happened to today's cinematography?

War of the Dead (2006 Video)

Horrible
20 September 2006
Warning: Spoilers
This movie was horrible. The story was ridiculous. In it some German soldiers surrender, but the platoon that finds them does not accept the surrender and torture and kill the Germans. these Germans then get infected by some insects and come back to get revenge on the American soldiers. they somehow get over to America some 50 years later undetected by anyone. from there they kill the American soldiers, but not zombie style. they shoot them or blow them up. when they shoot the guns no flash or bang goes off, the actors just twitch backwards to show some kickback. The last soldier is then running for life with his 8 year old grandson, a cop, and a supernatural cop. the zombie is then not even after the now senior citizen soldier, instead they want to thank him since he stood up for them. In the end the cop falls in love with the supernatural women, then u find out, duh duh duh, she's a zombie too, but she takes medication so she's not a full zombie. the acting was horrible, there are absolutely no special effects except for two explosions, and the storyline was horrible. the only thing i liked was that the only way to kill the zombies was to use a weapon that was around during world war 2. In conclusion i highly recommend everyone not to waste their time with this movie.

The Doors (1991)
10/10
"There are things known and things unknown, and in between are the Doors"
4 April 2006
As a huge fan of the doors, i was so excited when i heard that they were making a movie on them, and what's even better, is that it was being directed by one of my favorite directors, Oliver Stone. What could be better. This is the best rock-n-roll movie ever made hands down. it shows the rise and fall of one of the greatest bands of all time. The only thing i didn't like about the movie is that it is soley based on jim morrison. people there were 4 people in the doors, robbie krieger, john densmore, and ray manzaretie (sorry i know i spelled that wrong)and jim played probably the smallest part in their music, especially the soft parade. also i blame this movie on how everyone now wears a doors shirt, and yet they don't even know who they are or there music, they just know jim morrison. that is truly one of my pet peeves. i encourage everyone to watch this movie. you will not be disappointed.

Dead End Road (2004)

worst movie
4 April 2006
This was honestly the worst movie i have ever seen. the acting was god awful, the story line also was bad. it was however a good idea. if this movie would have had better cinematics, and a lot better actors, i might of had something better to say. edgar allen poe was a great Gothic writer, and this movie just destroyed it. why do people always have to kill good stories by making bad movies. the only good part was when the killer put the head under the floor with a tape going, that was pretty good. the swinging axe was just horrible, there was absolutely no suspense. and also when the killer is chasing everyone around in the end, he was going from one place to another in just seconds, it makes absolutely no sense.

Romero shows how it's done
4 April 2006
This movie was probably the worst out of the series that Romero made. However before everyone gets all upset with me and wants to tell me off, i still enjoyed it and would highly recommend this movie to anyone who loves zombie movies. it was definitely original and had an excellent story line for humans vs humans, almost as good as dawn of the dead. however the zombie action wasn't the best. Romero didn't allow tom savini to show off his true talent, and i also didn't like how they all followed one zombie. he also focused too much on humans vs humans. it worked for day of the dead because it took on more of the scientific role, where as land of the dead was more of a civilization trying to survive. Overall it was a very good movie, definitely the best zombie movie to come out in a long time, but it just didn't meet my total expectations, i don't, maybe i was coming in with too high of expectations.

underrated
4 April 2006
This in my opinion was george a. romero going out of his box. it was an extremely creative and original zombie movie next to the one that started it all, "Night of the Living Dead." This movie also showed the talent that the great tom savini has with special effects. when the zombie rolled off the table and his organs spilled everywhere, i literally jumped up screaming "that was so cool man." a lot of people didn't like this movie, but unfortunately, the movie didn't get sufficient funding, so that's why it's a little boring. however i did still like how it took on more of the scientific role for explaining why zombies act like they do. I was so impressed, that when i bought it i watched it almost everyday for 3 months. george a. romero proved in this movie once again that he is the god of zombie movies.

High Tension (2003)
9/10
just awesome
4 April 2006
Warning: Spoilers
This was probably the best new original movie that i have seen in a while. Finally, someone is starting to bring back the good ol' slasher flicks. I think i peed myself a little when the guy was killing everybody. the most amazing part was when the father got his head knocked off by the desk. his brains splattered everywhere. i haven't seen that much gore in a movie since Day of the Dead. it was a little predictable that the woman was a lesbian, but oh my god, when i found out she was a scytz and she was the one who killed everybody and kidnapped her friend. i did not see that coming. and the acting was magnificent. the main character kept her part so well. who ever wrote the script and screenplay for this movie should be sent over here in north America and teach these writers over here how it's done. I encourage anyone who has not seen this movie to definitely see it.

Lost (2004–2010)
Bad show
23 March 2006
I personally do not like Lost. It is basically a third rate Lord of the Flies and the X-files. I turned it on one day and i almost cried because it was so bad. What are they going to call the show when they're discovered?, "Found". The show is EXTREMELY predictable and really really boring. Tobe do you know who his is? hahaha. Why do people get into this show, someone tell me. I'm basically trying to make ten lines now so i'll just ramble on. my name is earl, now that's a good show. south park is another good show. is anyone else going to ozzfest this year. it's my second year going now, but i'm not too excited about the bands. oh well

My Name Is Earl is a lot better show
