Red March - Roman
Roter März shows a growing miners' settlement in the daily struggle for survival, with pronounced distrust of state authorities, shaken by the millions of deaths at the front in World War 1. This settlement is at the center of the Ruhr Revolution - and the pastor is at the dramatic center. The play vividly illustrates how Pastor Albert Nienhaus is opposed to the pursuit of justice and social improvement in the practice of his faith.
