Izzy is worried about Paul, but he keeps up appearances for her sake; yet she addresses Harold about his apparent pleasure in Paul's misery. When Harold overhears Izzy saying Paul's anxiety attacks could prove fatal for him, that sets him thinking he might turn that to his advantage for another attempt to get rid of his archenemy forever. Dylan's Enterprise gets a less favorable start then expected. Ned tries to spare Elle a public humiliation.
Tue, Jan 17, 2006
Paul is practically paranoid; Harold attempts to drive over him, but can't at the last second. Izzy didn't know about Paul's anxiety attacks. When Elle rehearses for the dancing audition for the part of Nel, everyone sees she's the worst dancer in Australia, but Ned doesn't want her to be told; he asks Sky, who once danced semi-professionally, to try teach her some moves, to no avail. Dylan is trying a new business, selling mood rings, but constable Stuart parker insists he needs a vender's permit and customers are extremely scarce; he blurts out the truth to Elle just before Gino comes, who decides only Sky is nearly good enough; at Scotty's suggestion she accepts to save Ned's play, but insists Elle gets some part- the gum tree. When Izzy hears Paul is alone, she asks Harold to go look, which he happily does, attempting everything to sneak up on him and appeal to all aspects of his anxiety.
Wed, Jan 18, 2006
Because Izzy arrived in time Paul survived Harold's anxiety-attempt to induce a cardiac arrest and doesn't even realize it; she tells incredulous Max she believes Harold is Paul's aggressor, even says so to Harold, but mistakes his panic reaction for sincere morning grief. His barman-job gives Kim the confidence to take paternal charge, even over his cocky, enterprising boys; his mission for Scotty is a film festival's open competition, and he talks Dylan into financing -with Paul's $2,000- new software, while the prize money is only $5,000; worse, he insists they go surfing first, leaves the key on the van- and it's stolen when they get out of the sea. Lyn is less happy with Paul's next debt collection job: a friend of hers.
Thu, Jan 19, 2006
Hiding in the dark surgery Janae is nearly caught by Carl, who finds out his medical files are compromised, blames Boyd who was the last known to be inside for 'not locking up', and has all the keys changed as Boyd no longer has his. Janae pretends to have 'found' his key, and even gets promised a 'finders fee' lunch from her dream prince. She lashes out at Janelle for writing her tripe novel. Ned is still annoyed by his brother Stu's customary friendly insults, but Elle is the one who really takes offense at it, and uses a hands-on approach: she gives the kind cop brutal wedgies, causing him to cry out in temporary treble voice. After being read the riot act by Carl for 'not filing properly either' Boyd notices which files Janae left on his desk- hers and Mike Pill's. Even after she confesses, Boyd only thinks of her and takes the blame- till she lies to the plagued boy she still loves Mike, he was 'only ever a consolation prize'. Well-meaning Stu hands Ned an enrollment for a remedial reading class and info to join the police afterward, which Ned however throws back as most offending meddling in his life.
Sun, Jan 22, 2006
Karl is so pleased with A-student Boyd's secretarial work that he offers him a long-term position; however he discovers Mike Pill's file states him positive, so he probes Janae how far she went with him, but she steals Boyd's file cabinet key, breaks in the surgery and reads the files herself. Lyn offers to pay for a resort holiday with Steph. Despite Toadie's utterly negative advice, Max wants to go ahead with a procedure to have Steph committed by psychiatrist Helen- instead she sends him packing. Connor and Toadie find themselves standing in for Harold and Lou in the coffee shop, and scarily resembling that pair as Karl remarks.
Mon, Jan 23, 2006
Janae has admitted to boyfriend Boyd she and Mike 'went much further then kissing', she may even have infected him. Kim takes her to Karl, where Boyd comes pledge her his unconditional support but fails to tell the full truth, earning him the sack and probably withdrawal of the recommendation that got him into university. Hearing Janelle's all too obvious novel 'after real life' learns Scotty the sad truth; Bree starts busking as flutist, the Timmins men set their hope on a hot-dog cart; Janelle asks everyone to inspire her by fighting as usual. After Janae learned Boyd got fired, she owns up to Karl, who remembers his own wrestling with confidential patient information and decides to give Boyd another chance.
Tue, Jan 24, 2006
Lou returns and is startled to learn about Harold's departure to Tasmania after dealings with arch-enemy Paul; Izzy tells Lou she accused Harold of stalking Paul until she saw him break down. The Timmins brothers enjoy themselves putting the hot-dog-cart they got from dump together in Lyn's living-room. Paul has another anxiety attack, trusts nobody but Izzy anymore, tells Dylan not even to ask but just go ahead with his hot-dog vending. Elle hated Ned's kissing Sky too realistically in the musical but cheerfully makes up kissing, Scotty just enjoys getting good footage for his film, Dylan is rather worried to see it afterward. Paul accuses Ned, who seems too friendly to Izzy for his liking, of being the stalker and throws the innocent protector out after he saw him on the security camera making a check outside. Harold leaves a message for Harold to call him back and finds his Bible with marked passages about manslaughter.
Wed, Jan 25, 2006
Steph insists Max must go, at least till further notice; Stuart tells him not to ignore the signs as he did with Cindy, in case she really is instable. After his painful spy-fall, Connor hopes to skin Toadie; Karl sees straight trough his malingering, but can't resist a chance to get one on the smirk lawyer for once; Stuart seems eager to help Connor, but is just as pleased when Toadie in bizarre disguise takes a disproving photograph. Izzy's cry for help concerning Paul's growing paranoia is met by Karl with utter indifference, but when he still recommends him a psychiatric facility Paul is furious Izzy ran to her former lover. Lou confides in Connor he worries Harold might well be Paul's stalker; they want to cover for him. Steph is loudly indignant when Lyn leaves Paul to babysit Oscar just while she runs an errand, but a bit later Paul notices the child is gone- and sees on his security camera Steph took the boy.
Thu, Jan 26, 2006
Paul calls about Steph taking Oscar, which worries Lyn and especially Max they weren't told; constable Stuart Parker finds them on a nearby soccer field; she admits to be out of her depth, desperately needing a break, but he feels she has a fever and brings her to Karl, who releases her with a lollipop while he waits for test results, while Max gets even more worried but still offers his unconditional support. Izzy tells Paul she won't stand for him throwing out her boyfriend Ned. Stu and Lyn worry Steph calls Oscar Charlie -her unborn- and thinks she found Oscar on the street; Stu suggests she needs psychiatric assistance, Karl firmly disagrees. Sky and Ned worry how his girlfriend Elle will feel about Gino's changes to the script, more romance and hot kisses, and even Sky considers Janelle's costumes too tacky. After talking to Max, who gets second thoughts at the last moment, Stu gets and uses a court order to intern Steph for involuntary mental assessment, frog-marching her off with police colleagues.
Sun, Jan 29, 2006
Steph is furious to be forced to psychiatric assessment after Stu's intervention against Karl's advise. Paul is not amused when Lyn cancels as Steph needs her, work must wait; she refuses to apologize, he insists work must be a serious consideration, even in times of family problems. Connor scolds Toadie for malingering after the merciless way he was unmasked lately; when Stingray reports there is a pie-eating contest, Toadie is tempted to make a miraculous recovery, and slips out with Scottie behind Connor's back- he thinks, but Stingray has been paid for a recording... Stu apologizes to Steph; Max is shocked to hear Stu really believed Steph could be as sick as his Cindy, and admits to Steph he helped Stu. She draws her conclusion: he is dumped.
Mon, Jan 30, 2006
After Steph dumped him, Max feels guilty but also lashes out at Karl, who actually warned him in advance, and won't even listen to Boyd; he also slips out to Kim the infidelity in their marriage isn't necessarily on his part. Jane gets family support now her tests results are due, and from Boyd who realizes if she's positive, he's at risk too, and Karl confirms he should get tested but could suffer medical practice restrictions if not negative. Janelle loves Dylan's adult attitude, even after Kim's stupidity, and suggests to call the hot dog business Dyl-Dogs or even Hot Dogs, Hot Bodies and go sell to bare-chested and take Sky or Janae in scanty dress to male clientèle. Sky drowns Dylan's potential jealousy towards Ned's character in real-life kisses. When Kim asks Janelle about her fidelity, inspired by Bree's new version of the novel's ending after an idea by Sky, Janelle denies but Janae gives her heaps as cheap tart hypocrite and worst example. Even a loving phone-call to daughter Summer can't calm Max's despair while Boyd keeps the bar afloat.
Tue, Jan 31, 2006
Steph is determined not to start her cancer therapy till after the birth, and without an premature cesarean, or after a talk to Lyn only a bit early. Now Janelle and Janae have made up, the whole bunch comes along as support group when she gets her test results from Karl- she's OK, so the family is off to celebrate, while she announces her intentions to become a nurse and take up soccer, and Boyd can switch his support to daddy Max, whose marital prospects look extremely bleak. Feeling guilty about the loss of Dylan's money from Paul for Scotty's project, Kim decides to sell his combi and pinch in for Stingray's camera software. Karl and Janelle try to remember their night together, years ago, under influence, can't but decide to pretend to be sure that nothing happened. Steph leaves on spa resort holiday with Lyn, and refuses even to talk to Max.
Wed, Feb 1, 2006
Lou tells Connor Harold's absence could be related to Paul, but gets it wrong: Paul would have get rid of Harry; Stuart points out Harold is not officially missing, so there can be no police search; a direct question to Paul obviously yields nothing. Izzy pretends to fall, but even that fails to lure Paul outside. After blaming Paul -who tries to take it back, in vain- for throwing Ned out, Elle intends to move in with him, Stu, Toadie and Connor. Predictably the very prospect causes havoc between Ned and Toadie- hearing from Ned she called Jarod misogynous is too much, but after an intervention by Izzy, Elle agrees to move back in with Paul if he tries to get along with Ned and sees a doctor. Meanwhile Toadie argues living without women is great because boys like being trouser-less at home, Connor confides he often drops trou just to humor his mates. Lou gets a call from Harold. Elle and Izzy get Paul to disconnect the security camera and welcome Ned to Elle's welcome home-dinner, but in no time hurt pride plays up and drives the lovers back out.
Thu, Feb 2, 2006
Returning late with Dylan's hot dog cart, Sky recognizes Lou's car and confronts him with the gloves he dumped, so he's forced to admit he's covering for Harold; she tells Dylan a cover-story. Paul can't tell Stuart much about the rock with a message trough his window, this time not typed but hand-written. Elle considers Paul too tense and moves in for the time being with Ned, who remains grumpy towards big brother Stu, although he does take the reading course. Izzy worries about Paul, Elle and Ned, so she asks Stu to keep an eye on Elle. Whirlwind Dylan tells the cast he accepted Gino's offer to play Angry Wayne, wildly, and his part in the confidence-building catch-your-mate proves him least reliable. Lou is even more worried to hear Harold is returning 'to finish what he started'.
Sun, Feb 5, 2006
Boyd and Janae play house, but when the considerate boyfriend expects finally to get physical again after a long, trying period, she demands some time off 'after her experience'. Harold is finally back, and tells Lou and Sky he's again in control of himself and intends to confess to the police, while they implore him not to risk discrediting his whole virtuous life. When Dylan shows his finished hot dog-cart, Boyd is amused but the girls cry blue murder at the 'pornographic' ornamentation with 'well-hung' mermaids as Janelle advised. Business has been so slow that Dylan had to beg Paul on his knees for another loan extension; Sky suggests he puts his cart in the bar, and Izzy agrees easily. When Paul actually apologizes to Harold for having suspected him like Izzy, it's too much for the old moralist, even Lou's arrival doesn't stop him owing up to the ugly truth...
Mon, Feb 6, 2006
Paul can't believe Harold's confession to be the Christmas terrorizer, till Lou admits having thrown the rock trough the window, then he promises to send the police on them. Izzy is delighted to see him back to his daring self, till he gets another anxiety attack as soon as he sets foot outside the house, which makes him realize a virtual saint like Harold must have been pushed too far too long, and decides not to press charges; Izzy is determined not to let the pair off that easy. Janelle loves Bree's romantic ending to the novel. Connor is reluctant when Taodie says the price to end his political correctness- routine is another P.I.-job, till he sees the 'mark': a divorce-prone client's foxy younger wife; alas Janelle's loudness in the park scares the lovers off.
Tue, Feb 7, 2006
Izzy pressures Paul to punish Harold; he won't hear about charges, but finally decides to kill his -and Lou's- business The Store by competition from Lassiter's restaurant. Karl gets Harold's blessing for his plan to do some jobs at his ex Susan's place before she returns from Belarus with the kids; Ned finds that weird but doesn't openly object. Stuart assures Elle his brother Ned makes great efforts to get back together, and even buys Ned flowers to give his love, till the two make up; since Izzy sabotaged his messages, she blames Paul, decides to leave back to Tasmania and is pleasantly surprised that Ned decides almost instantly to come with her after Gino's musical; Stu finally admits how much he would miss his kid brother.
Thu, Feb 9, 2006
When Janelle pushes Bree too hard slaving at her book, the only talented daughter takes a walk, and is terrified he will leave again when she finds dad Kim- sacked again, and pretending not to hide for Janelle, who verbally tears Max to shreds, who is in no mood to endure her gross insults. Janae told Boyd her parents would be at their old tricks again, and fight; once more, the dream prince who even offers to plead with his dad is caught in the middle, frustrated- Max accepts to move back in, at least till Steph returns. Karl considered his guitar performance a triumph, and Connor envies him at least the young female fans; Toadie eagerly points out the critic in the audience looked all but pleased, but the paper only prints a gleaming review by some unknown Sheila. Janae has an idea to keep her parents together: she and Bree make a run for it till the oldies sort out their differences.
Sun, Feb 12, 2006
Susan, Zeke and Rachel are back from Belarus, and find Karl has put the whole house in order and even stocked it. Yet Zeke only communicates trough his well-organized cards, even for Karl he won't speak a syllable. Scotty makes clear to Kim nobody takes any notice of the girls 'running away', but also tells his parents how hopelessly useless and selfish they are. Bree realizes Janae's plan won't work, so she returns home and declares to 'divorce' her parents. After Boyd told her she should fight as she does everywhere else, Janae buys back the mini-van and tells Kim he can have it to run, but then never may return, yet really wants him to stay for good and stick out the bad times too, as a real father does; Janelle decides instead to take the vehicle and leave him care for the kids.
Mon, Feb 13, 2006
Janelle was about to leave in the mini-van, but can't get it started and hurts her butt. When she sees Kim most fatherly help Dylan sell Dyldogs at his cart, she changes her mind completely and uses an onion ring to propose to him in bended knee 'to mend their wedding curse', never having married in style. Boyd and Bree embrace the idea, but Janae says the fickle couple won't last a week. Susan already had it hard now Rachel wants much more freedom then her late dad allowed, while Susan wants them raised his way, but then Katya returns, telling Susan she wants the lead in her younger siblings' education, proves an insubordinate bitch in Karl's surgery and then says 'his reputation' makes him unfit to help Zeke with aphasia, which he would only want to do because he wants Susan back. Next morning is Valentines day; Boyd gives Janae romantic red roses, and Kim goes surfing- but with Janelle, not Dylan; alas her fat body gets stuck in the lean boy's wetsuit, which lands her in ER.
Wed, Feb 15, 2006
Izzy insists honest Ned may say nothing about their fling to 'instable' Paul and suggests Tasmania is off. Stuart and the gang approve of Stingray's film, but he fears even if it wins the Eden Hills festival the university film school will refuse an ex-con. Toadie assures Scottie there is always a way: his former radio mate, Josh Nelson, provided he really sticks out: a job for Scotty if ever there was one. When Ned cancels Tasmania at the last moment, Connor overhears them; Paul comforts Elle, who ends up staying in Ramsay Street as well, and warns Ned never to approach his family again. Lou and Harold realize Paul's new Lucinda's Café is well on its way to put their General Store out of business.
Thu, Feb 16, 2006
For once good son Boyd is lucky with dad Max, who saves him the wasted cost of credit and barters $100 off a top-range lap-top. Janae follows them on campus when Boyd goes enroll and worries when she sees him handing out hot-dogs Sky secretly asked him to buy on her to boast Dylan's business. Paul isn't impressed by Harold's offer to turn himself in if Paul stops the assault on the General Store: Lou and Sky would go down too as accessories. For Sky's sake, Dylan refuses Paul's offer to run the café, even though he cold then employ his desperate dad. Now the bikini shop is bust, Toadie gives the stock to Lou and Harold in exchange for a year free food for him and Connor. Boyd must tell Max Steph wants her ex-groom out before she returns with Lyn.
Sun, Feb 19, 2006
Even Boyd can't stop Max to barge in at Steph who just returned with Lyn and Oscar, she considers that the last straw and sends him packing for good, only Boyd still insists they can and should talk things trough. Janelle won't even allow Bree to interrupt work on the manuscript to go to school. Janelle tells Janae Boyd is just a male pig, Kim reassures her it's his distracting family troubles, she threatens every girl-student she sees near Boyd with her big brothers. Dylan and Sky are not amused Kim practically takes over the Dyl-dogs sale at her university; after Sky tells what Dylan gave up, Kim promises his boy the sky is the limit. Gino has had enough of Lyn's family crises: she's fired. At the last moment, Steph stops Max...
Mon, Feb 20, 2006
Steph has given Max another chance, but makes it quite clear nothing may interfere with her pregnancy, regardless of her health; to Susan she admits to feel sick again, just as the cancer caused, accepts to see Karl but stubbornly refuses chemo-therapy until the birth and insists on total secrecy to everyone else. Susan hears Lyn is fired at Gino's salon, yet still calls working for Paul unthinkable, but can Lyn afford refusing a job? She asks Paul to work anonymously, in vain. Dylan overhears them and decides to let his business sense accept Paul's managerial offer, even though Sky said such treason means the end of their relationship; Harold understands his position, even wishes the reformed ex-con good luck and makes Sky see reason, to a point. Now Boyd wonders why girl students avoids him, Janae fears her sneaky tricks may make him dump her.
Tue, Feb 21, 2006
The house of (drop-)trousers is upset to find an unannounced visitor after another late party night (actually well after the next dawn): mother Angie Rebecchi, who announces she's not leaving till she has rebuild Toadie's life from the ground up; only when she decides to find him the woman to give her grandkids she's offered a ride to the station. Max catches obvious, falsely confessing suspect Bree Timmins and Rachel, who has a hard time convincing anyone of her guilt spray-painting. After her promise, not to be as unreliable as the rest of the world, bizarrely convinces Zeke to tell Katya Susan is next to die, both substitute mothers seem to find a modus vivendi. Scott 'Stingray' Timmins is delighted to have a real shot at Eden Hills university's film-school, but daunted by the last test: a three-part story in only nine shots.
Wed, Feb 22, 2006
Noble Ned tries to do good for everyone, but still gets threatened by Paul, ignored by Elle and used by snake Izzy. Zeke still won't talk to Susan, Katya intends a formal complaint against Karl with the medical board and to petition the court for custody of her siblings after a confused talk with Zeke behind Susan's back. Lou enjoys throwing Paul and Izzy out of the General Store, Harold is worried to hear they know it has no liquor license, but when Paul introduces an official Lou pulls out an event license for Orientation Week. Would-be next Spielberg Scotty 'Stingray' Timmins jumps at Rachel's suggestion to make his 9 pictures- entry reportage about his driving examination, and despite a wonderfully expressive but seriously unamused instructor succeeds in both, using Rachel for the final picture 'then he got his girl'. When Ned sees a blue eye on Izzy, she fails to stop him, he's about to go attack Paul.
Thu, Feb 23, 2006
Mother Angie Rebecchi moves in 'for a while' with Toadie and Connor, who has a point fearing their freedom is totally at risk, and indeed she even decides what underwear to buy for them and delivers it in public. Izzy keeps scheming to have Paul ask a composer to offer Ned an audition for a Sidney musical part and make Elle date someone else to spite Ned, and indeed she hits on big brother Stuart Parker, who is recalcitrant but despite Connor's warning spends time with her rather then Angie. Janelle is eager to scream out publicly husband Kevin dumped Angie, who figures that defeats the point of fleeing Colac, but is now asked by Toadie to stay 'to put his life in order'. Paul is not impressed by Lou's threat Angie is on his side.
Sun, Feb 26, 2006
Ned is ready to go to Sidney and try a musical career, but only if Izzy comes with him. Elle is shocked to her core, and Elle pulls all stops, even champagne on the hotel suite, only to find Stu terminally faithful to his crazy wife Sindy and more interested in soccer then even her unveiled anatomy. Dylan tells Kim he's leaving the Dyl-dog cart business to accept Paul's management offer. Sky promises a radio strip-marathon on air to get subscriptions, even if Harold comes running to stop her; but when Elle bursts in her boot... After begging absolutely everyone else for a job, anything, Lyn swallows her pride and principles to work for Paul, openly, to pay off her mortgage.
Mon, Feb 27, 2006
Zeke overhears Susan, telling Karl she almost wished Katya hadn't turned up, and is jealous the boy only speaks to his bitchy big sister. Toadie and Connor make fun about Stu's marital fidelity to Sindi, despite sexy Elly throwing her pretty self at his feet. When Todie gets called for legal council by Katya, who hears from him what a wonderful substitute-mother Susan has been to him and many other boys, Connor challenges Stu's people-judgment to guess their intentions and they shadow the lawyer. Now she has him on the way to Sidney, Izzy uses every dirty trick to make herself utterly insufferable, a bitch from hell pleased with nothing, yet Ned pays what he can't afford, bears and grins every reproach and impossible demand- so when Paul calls cheerfully, she pretends a disaster has her in tears, forced to return and sends him off alone. Katya still only hears the worst about Susan and announces she's going trough with a custody battle for her siblings.
Tue, Feb 28, 2006
Now Katya is playing hardball for custody over poor Zeke and ever more rebellious Rachel, Susan looses patience and throws her out. After consultation with Toadie, Alex's last will is read, which was written before his marriage with Susan and the return of Katya, so it only divides everything between the three siblings and hopes for them to become one family. Meanwhile Janelle Timmins, who continues to abuse Bree without giving her any credit for the manuscript-rewriting and at the expense of her schoolwork, writing tripe 'homework' the teachers complain about, doesn't listen to Scotty's reproaches and publicly engages in bitter bickering with sister-in-law Angie Rebecchi, which they consider to settle -an originally jocular suggestion from Stingray- in the wrestling ring.
Wed, Mar 1, 2006
A masked man doctors Paul's mailbox and drops a typed warning to think about the important things. He tells Sky one phone-call from him can get his obvious suspects Harold and Lou, and her, in jail, she warns him that would make it even easier for the real culprit. Paul believes nothing of the duo's denials, and announces he can play it even worse. Karl convinces to Steph Max' suggestion to take a holiday together is medically not a good idea. Janae keeps deceiving Boyd who is at Uni FM when Sky announces an e-mail about something just like Janae's threats. Although Sky has declared business war, Dylan courteously shows Harold his Lucinda's menu, Lou seizes it to 'top it' somehow. Harold tries to warn Paul the plain bomber may be back, but isn't believable anymore. Scotty 'Stingray' plays both big brother and boyfriend to wining Rachel. Boyd overhears Janae over-confidently discuss the truth with Dylan.
Thu, Mar 2, 2006
Now Boyd knows how Janae lied, he tells her he'll drop out of uni; she hastily tries to undo her threats to uni-chicks, then tells her startled, skateboarding prince charming it's much better to be spared ten years of study, now he can move in with her; he generously makes up anyway. Janelle insists to celebrate the actual sale of the manuscript at the General Store where Angie works. When Lyn tells Susan how brilliantly Bree improved Janelle's dribble, that explains the recent homework-disasters too. Only an earpiece spoken into by Bree can help Janelle answer the publisher's man Bill Merchant's questions. Lou chews Lyn's head off for 'selling her soul to the devil' Paul by taking the only job offer at Lucinda's; Susan shows single mothers-solidarity, while holding back the legal recourse against Katya's custody-ambitions Karl advises. Steph lets Max go a few days to his daughter Summer who has caught dengue fever, but Karl and Susan insist he should know the baby can cause her dead meanwhile. Kim blurts out Angie once made a pass at him, and barely manages to stop Janelle telling Big Kev, which could kill their already dodgy marriage for good.
Sun, Mar 5, 2006
Just after Max's taxi left, Steph collapsed, fortunately Boyd is there to get an ambulance stat. Encouraged by Katya, to Karl's anger, Steph keeps putting any risk to Charlie before her own survival, even now the cancer can become terminal in a matter of days. Lyn stops Boyd from informing Max, who would leave sick Summer and face an impossible choice between his wife and daughter Charlie, and visits with her own young son Oscar 'Ozzy'. Scotty and Bree claim Janelle will deck Angie, Toadie bets $50 on his ma. Susan, who still spares non-vocal Zeke as much as possible, and vicious Katya make the next step in the battle for custody: mediation by Toadie- apparently a waste of time. Bree and Zeke make up, Rachel and Stingray have their first kiss.
Mon, Mar 6, 2006
Susan doesn't believe Kathya is mature enough for mediation to stand a chance; Toadie insists they try, even though she feels that's disloyal to her, because the likely alternative is forcing Zeke and Rachel to choose but the utterly integer Zeke is spontaneously telling Katya plainly Susan is a wonderful mother-figure, and he wants to stay with her. Janelle and Angie are training hard and exchanging verbal punches. Susan asks Karl to make clear before a custody case they two will never get together again. When Susan asks the kids what they want, Rachel says she won't be forced to move out, but Zeke, who saw Katya's shattered reaction, writes down K. needs him; Rachel blames Zeke for forcing her hand as they promised dad to stay together, and Stingray who decides they don't have a future now he must concentrate on university. Susan insists to have Katya investigated- Toadie offers suspicious Connor the job. Rachel rages to Katya that she never cared for her and acts totally against dad's wishes.

Izzy makes sure Elle is miserable to learn Ned has got the Sidney musical part and may stay there up to a year. Stuart tells Conor Sindi wants a divorce and goes out with Elle. Dylan amazes Paul with recipes his crazy ma picked up from magazines in Karl's waiting room but never tried, notably his own 'sausage heaven'; however after a talk with girlfriend Sky about the implosion of Harold's General Store, he tries to tell Paul he wants out to expand the hot-dog business with dad Kim; when Paul tells him the truth, he thinks it's a lie and quits Lucinda's, then learns from Sky Harold did try to kill Paul, is livid she lied to him -so their truth pact was a one-way street, thanks for ruining his only career shot- and runs off to beg Paul for his job back. Ned is back to get Izzy, he even dumped his Sidney part, but she refuses to quit Paul; then he finds Stu kissing Elle. Lou goes to the trousers house boys, who are worn down by the restaurant war mega-menu-offers, to use their broadband Internet, to download British vintage comedy...
Wed, Mar 8, 2006
Harold and Lou's General Store seems to be nearing the end: even a loyal supplier comes demand stock back as they didn't pay six months passed the customary grace period. Now she realizes Dylan is furious enough to dump her for real, Sky pulls all the stops to get him back, even calls in her university radio program for students to drop by at Lucinda's and tell Dylan she loves him; he hesitates to take Paul's advice to forget about her. After Ned surprised brother Stuart kissing his ex Elle, explanations about Sindi demanding a divorce and an exhausting night when still nothing happened can't prevent the brothers rolling over fighting, then Stu blurts out Elle didn't mean anything while she hears him, livid too. Izzy bitches at poor Ned to go away, as if he were blackmailing her, and realizes he is not behind the video; she ruins Paul's laptop.
Thu, Mar 9, 2006
Lyn is furious Susan knew about Stef's condition but didn't tell her. Boyd sets up Stingray's camera in hospital so Steph can record a video he must keep for baby Charlie, in case she doesn't survive childbirth as she still won't listen to Karl. Kim starts to wonder if the Dyl-dog cart is worth all the effort given the meager earnings. Janae trains Janelle, but Angie pounding the outdoors punching ball starts seismic waves. Harold is cross at Lyn, who unknowingly served him Paul's eviction notice for the General Store in mere weeks. Janae finds Boyd in tears after watching the video.
Sun, Mar 12, 2006
