Christian (Mikael Birkkjær) tries in a closed meeting to prevent the vital plan of Anders (Thomas Kim Hoder) to subdivide his land. He brings his secretary Lis (Pernille Højmark) to the beach, and later becomes jealous when she goes out with Anders. But Lis takes Christian home at night. Christian pays several visits to Anders and Birgit (Birgitte Raaberg) on the farm. All three have fun together, even though Birgit rejects Christian's approaches. A plan for the zoning of Hvidkilde prepared by engineer Højlund (Niels Vigild) is being voted down, so an alternative plan must be implemented. Christian (Mikael Birkkjær) searches together with the priest (Jesper Christensen) for traces of his biological father. Incidentally, Anders (Thomas Kim Hoder) meets Lis (Pernille Højmark) in the mall and she lifts a bit of the veil around Christian's plans. During a meeting with the diocesan prefect (Waage Sandø), however, Christian is told that his plan does not work. The next day, he announces to the mayor (Peter Schrøder) that he is leaving for a new job and that now he supports the subdivision. Anders fatally misunderstands a phone call and falls from the roof of City Hall while looking for Christian.
