The Legend of Maula Jatt (2022)
Horrible.
My expectations were high, I was very excited to watch this film, but when I watched it, it was disappointment after disappointment. The cinematography? Better than expected, the fight scenes? Thrilling. But the storyline was horrible, nothing interesting going on, it was just manslaughter and bloodshed. I don't mind violence, but at least put a few plot twists or make the storyline more gripping. This movie, doesn't give any importance to villains. Instead, it's all about the innocent or more beloved characters winning. Which I have no issue with, I even cheered for the innocent characters, but it's disappointing how there's no plot twist, there's no attention grappling, like, at all. It was boring. If you enjoy watching villains winning/taking the throne, or enjoy plot twists, then this movie isn't for you.

What even is this?
I am speechless, after sitting through this movie, I just have no words at all! There's no plot at all, the entire movie is just the main characters mating together. I can't believe who would write a script like this, it's flabbergasting to me. They have most illogical music videos, one second they'll be fighting, and then the other, their riding in their car and there will be some happy song playing. This reminds me of the movie, After, just filled with abusive relationships and unnecessary plot twists. It's indescribable, the movie is just indescribable, what is actually going on? The direction makes me nauseous. It's the fact that Anne-Maria Sieklucka (Laura Biel) keeps trying to do a seductive voice, even though it just feels like she's whispering, it's cringe.
After (2019)
Not worth watching.
This, by far, has to be one of the WORST romance movies ever.
Just endless drama that never ends, and childish music videos.
They could've done a better job at making their relationship look somewhat healthy and not toxic, but nope, just pointless drama.
It's also SUPER cliché, it felt like watching a Disney movie but 10 times worse!
It's too cringe. Unhealthy friendships, abusive relationships, etc., And they never even solved any of the fights they had.
Instead, it just kept getting worse and worse!
If you're over the age of 12, this movie will give you a headache.
I do not recommend it...
Monster (2022)
Probably the best biography on Jeffery Dahmer.
The entire series gives you goosebumps, the acting is insanely good. The casting choice was also amazing.
Niecy Nash and Evan Peters' acting was very realistic, it felt as if I was there when everything was happening because of how realistically they portrayed everything.
It was a bit hard to watch if I'm being honest, it was eerie and disturbing especially when you consider the fact that this actually happened in real life and everything is factual, that just makes it scarier. Ryan Murphy truly made this the best biography of all time, it's realistic, thrilling, ominous, and creepy.
I recommend this.
Prey (2022)
Nothing special.
*spoilers ahead*
i wasn't a very big fan of this movie, it's strange how quickly and easily Predator died.
The fight scenes were honestly really flabbergasting, and well-done.
Amber's (Naru) acting was splendid.
I do wish that they made it more difficult to kill Predator, because no one in the previous parts, killed him. So it's really weird how Naru killed them, easily. Everyone, even Arnold, attempted their best to take Predator down.
And in this part, they made Predator weaker, which is very disappointing.
My expectations of this movie weren't high, but they weren't low either.
But after watching it, I definitely have an opinion about it, and it's not a good one.
But I recommend this movie if you're a fan of Sci-Fi, and action movies. But I do not recommend this to people who often side with the villain, because the ending will be very disappointing.
Dum Mastam (2022)
Lengthy and unnecessary drama.
The jokes are funny, it's very comedic in some scenes.
But there is so much drama, and so many scene cuts and plot holes. I do appreciate that they decided to give these roles to less famous people and gave them a chance, but the script could've been better! The two main characters, Bao and Alia create such unnecessary drama and keep it going.
Their fight and arguments are so long and they don't even resolve them until it's the end of the movie.
Imran's (Bao) acting was just like Shahrukh Khan's. He was overacting so much.
One hour in this movie is just endless drama. They should have made this a tv series instead of a movie.
The climax builds extremely slowly just like in the tv series. The villains somehow didn't create a very intimidating persona, if anything, they were funny instead of scary which I guess is alright because this is a comedy film after all.
They also barely resolve their fight in the end.
But the scene where Bao accidentally let goes of the rope was very cinematic and gave me chills. Although, that's the only scene that is chilling and suspenseful.
